M43 – De Mairan’s Nebula – NGC 1982 – Emission nebula in Orion
A long time favorite, it looks amazing even at this suburban sky. The intensity of the nebula is realistic on this sketch. Maybe I’ll draw another to show the impression instead of the visuals.
